FP&A Manager

Are you ready to truly shape the financial future of Van Raam Group? As our FP&A (Financial planning and Analysis) Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in steering our financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making. You’ll collaborate closely with teams across the organization, turning complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for senior management.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to set ambitious yet realistic financial targets.
  • Develop and maintain long-term financial models and rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and market trends.
  • Analyze variances between actuals, budgets, and forecasts—clearly explaining results and highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including KPIs, variance analysis, and trend insights.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide timely, actionable information to management, investors, and banks.
  • Conduct financial analyses to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and business development.
  • Analyze profitability by product, customer, channel, or business unit to drive performance improvements.
  • Prepare clear presentations for senior management and the executive team.

Business partnering:

  • Act as a key financial partner for designated departments, offering guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Develop a deep understanding of business operations and the key drivers behind financial performance.
  • Collaborate with department heads to monitor progress against financial targets and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to boost operational efficiency and profitability.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, ideally in a production environment or the cycling industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to present financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with large datasets; knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
