General Description
The Commercial Excellence Manager acts as a bridge between strategic initiatives and operational execution within the commercial organization. The ideal candidate, preferably with a consultancy background, is capable of translating complex strategic issues into clear analyses, concrete projects, and successful implementations. This role requires close collaboration and maintaining relationships with teams across various countries. Additionally, the commercial excellence manager is responsible for streamlining strategic and operational processes and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
Core Responsibilities
- Strategic Translation: Converting strategic issues into actionable analyses, project plans, and implementation initiatives.
- Project Management: Coordinating and executing projects that contribute to commercial optimization.
- Data Analysis: Demonstrating strong skills in data analysis and identifying opportunities and risks to enable sound decision-making.
- Process Optimization: Streamlining strategic and operational processes within the organization.
- Implementation and Prioritization: Ensuring that strategic initiatives are properly implemented and that the right priorities are set.
- Proactive Issue Management: Actively identifying bottlenecks and proposing improvements at both strategic and operational levels.
- Reporting: Periodically reporting on progress, results, and recommendations to management.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Consultancy Background: Demonstrable experience in strategic consulting and project management within a consultancy or comparable environment (e.g.. in-house consulting, strategy function)
- Analytical Ability: Excellent skills in data analysis with a keen eye for opportunities and risks.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for presenting analyses and results.
- International Experience: Familiarity with a multicultural work environment and experience managing international projects is a plus.
- Technical Affinity: Experience with CRM systems and business intelligence tools as a plus.
